The Z Subohm 5 atomiser holds 5.5ml of liquid. This lasts significantly longer than small 2ml tanks and reduces refilling on the go. The top airflow sits above the tank and can be adjusted. This allows the draw to be adjusted from airier DL to more restricted RDL. When sliding open the top cap, you can feel the firm fit of the mechanism. It feels cleanly guided and suitable for everyday use.

Operation and filling
Filling is done via the push-to-fill system. The top cap is slid open, the tank is filled and then closed again. Before first use, the coil should soak with liquid for around 10 minutes. This fully saturates the cotton and significantly reduces the risk of a dry draw.

Expert tip
Smart mode is worthwhile for starting. It detects the inserted coil and selects a suitable power setting. Anyone wanting longer battery life uses Eco. The draw feels slightly softer, but the batteries last longer. After every coil change, the tank should be checked briefly. If the coil, glass and seals sit cleanly, the Z Subohm 5 remains more reliably leak-tight in everyday use.
